Gear Up started with a simple idea: Leysin deserves its own car event.
What began as a student passion project has grown into the first fully student-led automotive show at SHMS.

We created Gear Up to bring together car lovers, the local community, and students for a day filled with incredible machines, good vibes, and hands-on experiences. It’s our way of starting a new tradition in Leysin.

Explore a mix of vintage icons, modern supercars, and creative custom builds. Each zone is easy to walk through, and owners are right there if you want to chat, ask questions, or snap a photo.

It’s also a great place to meet people who share your interests — car owners, local businesses, students, and even potential collaborators or future clients. The whole event naturally encourages networking while you enjoy the atmosphere.

Gear Up aims to become a recurring series of events, expanding beyond cars into a variety of activities. We want to build a community where students, enthusiasts, and anyone who enjoys participating can connect, learn, collaborate, and have fun.

Future plans include hosting diverse experiences, offering opportunities for networking and partnerships, and creating a platform where each event sparks new ideas and connections.
